Family Owned
We are a family owned and operated business that was established over 35 years ago and has continued with second generation leadership and third generation actively involved in the daily operations of the business, creating a unified commitment to quality and customer service.
The Log Yard
All of our logs are locally harvested
hardwoods. Our log inventory varies
occasionally depending on availability.
The Mill
Our mill is an old Corley Sawmill that has two saw blades with 52-inch diameters that we use to cut the logs into boards!
The Kiln
We have a solar powered kiln that we run year round, it can hold up to 5400 board feet at one time! We sort our lumber by type and size then stack it to be air dried before we load it into the kiln. The air dried lumber that goes into the kiln is around 12 to 15 percent moisture content, when the lumber comes out of our kiln it is around 6 to 8 percent!
